Legends of Tomorrow

Network: The CW

Number of seasons: 4

Why it’s in danger of being canceled: The Arrowverse has been a strong lineup for The CW over the years. If you’d have asked me last year, I’d have said that Arrow was on the edge but that series has picked up a little. Now it’s Legends of Tomorrow.

It’s the lowest-rated Arrowverse series and the one that didn’t get to have a boost because of the crossover this year. Out of all the shows on this list, it’s one of the least likely to be canceled but it’s still in a precarious position.

The CW has decided not to bring the show back in January. Instead, it’s being held off until the spring, giving Black Lightning the Monday night slot to give Roswell, New Mexico a good chance. There are multiple reasons to do this, but it could be that the network is worried about it.

Legends of Tomorrow was confirmed as being renewed for a fifth season on Jan. 31 by The CW.

Lethal Weapon

Network: FOX

Number of seasons: 3

Why it’s in danger of being canceled: You may not be surprised to see that this movie reboot series has made it to the list. There are a lot of complaints about the series on social media for one reason or another. Part of me things that it might have been better to cancel the series last year instead of holding out for Lethal Weapon Season 3.

While ratings have held steady for the last couple of weeks, the show is still at the bottom of FOX shows. It’s the second worst show of all and on one of the more competitive nights. We’ll either see the show get moved to a Friday night next season, which is unlikely considering the current lineup, or it will be moved to the midseason if it isn’t canceled.
