Fresh Off the Boat

Network: ABC

Number of seasons: 5

Why it’s in danger of being canceled: Fresh Off the Boat was one of those shows on the bubble last year. Then it got moved to Friday nights, making it clear that ABC wasn’t all that confident in it. There are better shows or freshmen shows that the network thinks could be better.

It’s not surprising to hear that this show could be canceled when you look at the fact that it is one of the lowest-rated shows on the network. To keep a show going after five years, the network would want to avoid the 40+% drop in the key demo ratings.

Fuller House

Network: Netflix

Number of seasons: 4

Why it’s in danger of being canceled: I know this is an Amazon fan site and we don’t get Fuller House at all, but it’s worth a mention. Fuller House is one of the most likely shows to get canceled. Why? Well, was it really necessary in the first place?

I’ll admit that I loved Full House but this revival did nothing for me. I missed the Olsen twins (and it wouldn’t have been the same with them no longer being the youngsters they were when they played the same character on the series way back when) and all the running gags are old.

There are certainly storylines coming up that make it feel like this show is trying to wrap up now. Netflix says that no decision has been made but that isn’t necessarily a good sign.

Fuller House has been renewed for a fifth and final season.
