SWAT

Network: CBS

Number of seasons: 2

Why it’s in danger of being canceled: The Shemar Moore-led show should be one that Criminal Minds fans are all over. It’s not like Moore was fired from the series or left in bad blood. It’s surprising that his fans haven’t moved directly over to the police drama. And it’s unfortunate, too.

Out of all the two- and three-season shows, SWAT is most definitely one of the most worrying. It sits only just before Madam Secretary and MacGyver.

Like Criminal Minds, it might just slip through for another season. Because of its timeslot, it offers some strength. It’s routinely at the top on Thursday nights, but that is partially because there are few shows on at 10 p.m. on that night!

The Alec Baldwin Show

Network: ABC

Number of seasons: 1

Why it’s in danger of being canceled: It’s not been confirmed yet, but The Alec Baldwin Show is pretty much dead in the water. The biggest sign was seeing the show move from a Sunday night to a Saturday night — the worst night for TV! It looks like ABC just wants to burn off the episodes it already has (and I wish it did that with Time After Time last year!).

There are multiple reasons this show has failed. One of those will be linked to Baldwin’s arrest but it will also be linked to the lack of promotion from ABC. I remember seeing plenty about the scripted shows but nothing for this.
