I admit that I didn’t know what to make of Forever the first time I watched it. The dramedy just didn’t turn out to be something that I expected. But after watching all the episodes multiple times, I’ve found a fondness for it and it certainly deserves a second season.

Forever tells the story of a married couple who have done the exact same thing for the whole 12 years they’ve been married. Oscar is more than happy to continue life as it is, but June has become bored. She wants more and that’s why she suggests instead of the vacation by the lake, they go skiing instead.

This is where it all goes wrong for them. They end up on a journey that they never once expected. Can they remain together on this journey or will it pull them apart?

There’s also a tale within a tale. Episode 6 is focused on Andre and Sarah, two real estate agents who form a connection and find love together. What happens when you let love and life slip through your fingers, though?

This is one of those series that will take you on a journey of life and the afterlife. It certainly makes you take stock of your own situation. Sadly, this is one of those Prime Originals canceled after just one season but it’s worth checking out.
