Lore is Amazon’s first foray into creating a show from a podcast, and what a show it has created! The podcast created and narrated by Aaron Mahnke has become a sensation. You’re pulled into a world of legends and ghost stories from around the world.

Lore continues that, developing the episodes in the podcast for TV. The first season keeps Mahnke’s narration, bringing the stories to life through his voice. Whether you know a story or not, there are tidbits that you will always learn.

The second season took things slightly differently. Instead of using Mahnke to narrate the series, the storytelling is done through the characters. Some love it, some hate it. Either way, there is something for everyone.

And it’s all an anthology series. The first season took six stories from the podcast and turned them into 40-minute episodes. During the second season, four of the episodes are based on the podcast. Two of them are original stories that Mahnke explains couldn’t be a podcast episode.
