Honestly, there is no way that the longest-running of all Prime Originals could be missed off this list. Recently picked up for a sixth season ahead of the fifth season finishing production, Bosch is a must-watch for all.
Michael Connelly stars in and executive produces the show based on the books focusing on the same character. The first season is based on the novels “City of Bones,” “Echo Park,” and “The Concrete Blonde.”
The show has certainly taken a few twists and turns from this point. It’s a series that will always keep you on the edge of your seat and it will leave you second guessing everything you think you know.

While this is based on the books, don’t expect everything to be the same. This is an adaptation that even changes the main character to create a more modern series. After all, in the series, titular character Harry Bosch is a former member of the Armed Services, who was in the 1991 Gulf War. Now he’s been a police offer for 20 years, except for a one-year break due to 9/11 when he went back into the Army with many other police officers.
It really is one of the best detective shows in the world. It is also Amazon’s longest running show, and was renewed for its seventh and final season in 2020.
