There are some TV shows created for pure enjoyment. Truth Seekers is one of them.

When you hear that a show is created by Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, you know it’s going to be good. It’s packed with comedy that isn’t always suitable for children, but definitely entertains from start to finish. And the storyline doesn’t suffer from bad jokes. The comedy entertains while good writing keeps the story flowing.

Truth Seekers brings the magic of Frost and Pegg one more. It focuses on two paranormal investigators—one a little greener than the other—in the search to prove that things don’t go bump in the night. One of the investigators has a popular YouTube channel, and he loves to share everything that he does, bringing a sense of the current day into the series and not in a groany way.

Along the way, the two investigators realize that there may be more to the ghostly events happening around them. There’s a chance that ghosts may exist and there may be a bigger conspiracy underneath it all. The question is whether they can figure out what that conspiracy is.

There is only one season of Truth Seekers right now, but everyone is on board for a second season. We just need Amazon to see that it’s needed.
