As you would expect from the title, the show involves high-end escorts. The first season focuses on Christine Reade, a second-year law school student at Chicago-Burnham. When she lands an internship at Kirkland & Allen law firm, she needs to figure out how to balance everything and manage her expenses. That’s where the escort service comes in.

Taking on the pseudonym “Chelsea Rayne,” she offers “the girlfriend experience” to her clients. This involves making sure her clients are both sexually and emotionally satisfied. The difference is there are no strings attached. What happens when her clients cross the boundaries and she learns there’s corruption within her law firm?

The second season moves on from Christine’s story and looks at two parallel storylines. You get plenty of drama and sexual tension. There are political stories, ones involving witness protection, and much more.
