7. House on Haunted Hill

Netflix may have Haunting on Hill House, but Amazon Prime Video has one of the only haunted house movies you’ll ever need to watch. House on Haunted Hill is a 1959 classic, asking you the question of how far you’d go for $10,000. Would you spend the night in a haunted mansion?

Of course, chances are you don’t believe the mansion is haunted. However, it is and it has a psychotic owner to boot. When people start turning up dead, it’s clear that there’s something serious going on!

6. Nosferatu

When it comes to silent movies, there is only one you need to watch this Halloween. Nosferatu is a take on Bram Stoker’s Dracula. So much so that the Stoker heirs sued the makers of this movie and forced them to burn every copy. Only one survived, leading to the movie spreading the world again.

Nosferatu brought out the original type of vampires—the ones that Bella Swan would never have fallen for! They were scary and dangerous. It will leave you with a haunted vision in a movie with no words.
