9. Child’s Play

October is the scariest month and it’s not surprising that a bunch of Halloween movies are dropping. One of those you want to catch this week is Child’s Play.

Dropping on Oct. 1, the movie is a tale of a doll that has been possessed by the soul of a serial killer. “Hi, I’m Chucky. Do you want to play?” will become one of those lines that never leaves your head–that’s if you don’t already have it stuck in there because you watched it years ago when it first came out.

While the franchise has certainly gone downhill, the first few movies were creepy and had good plot development. You’ll want to watch the first movie for sure.

8. Full Metal Jacket

I’ll admit that I was disappointed to hear that this was leaving Netflix. Then the movie was on the Amazon Prime Video list, so for me, it wasn’t so bad. That drops this week and you can watch it as much as you want.

Full Metal Jacket has some of the most memorable scenes and storylines throughout the history of movies. It’s a Stanley Kubrick movie that follows a bunch of new recruits in the Marine Corps during the time of the Vietnam War.

Each of the recruits is very different in nature. Some make it through and others suffer breakdowns that eventually lead to their suicides. The whole movie leads up to the Battle of Hue, the bloodiest battle of the whole war.
