The Man in the High Castle Season 3 promotional images finally released
The Man in the High Castle Season 3 trailer wasn’t the only promotional item to drop for the Amazon series today. Images of various characters, including a first look at Jason O’Mara, were released.
Images for The Man in the High Castle Season 3 are finally here. We finally get a look at some of the major players as the resistance rises against the Nazi Party. Some of the images certainly leave us with a few questions.
One thing for certain is that there’s going to be more of the tapes. They were the initial reason Julianna found herself pulled into the world of the resistance. Despite Frank wanting her to let things be and just get rid of the tape (because he had just lost his family), Julianna kept diving deeper and deeper into this world.
The trailer for the season has shown us that Julianna continues this, but there’s an interesting photo of her cuddling a young woman and looking up at what seems to be someone in a Nazi uniform. Whether we know this person or not is unknown, but things aren’t looking good. There have been clips of Julianna in a prison somewhere, so is this how that happens?
Joe may have been arrested at the end of The Man in the High Castle Season 2, but he doesn’t look to be worse off now. There’s a photo of him perching on a desk in suit and tie. This New Yorker has moved up in the world.

We also get a couple of first looks at Jason O’Mara in the series. He was one of the first new series regulars announced for the upcoming season and is now named Wyatt Price. There are flashes of him in the trailer, but this is the first real chance to just stop and look. He and Julianna are in a bar in one of the shots, clearly in cahoots with each other. Who has walked in, though?

Meanwhile, Obergruppenführer John Smith has his hands on a set of tapes. He’s moving up in the ranks of the Nazi regime, but does he really believe in it all? Season 2 showed us that he was outside the blast area when the atomic bomb was dropped in the States, meaning Germany and Japan won the war. Would he really want the Nazis to continue to gain power and gain power in other worlds?

He could be collecting the tapes to make sure others don’t get them. However, he’s in his uniform and looks to be in his office in the shot with the tapes. Would he really be that stupid to leave the tapes there?
One thing that is interesting is that Frank isn’t in any of the images. It looks like Frank really did sacrifice himself, which isn’t surprising since Rupert Evans is now in The CW’s Charmed. However, until this death is confirmed, it’s possible it didn’t happen. This show does have parallel worlds after all!
