Amazon Prime Day is coming soon, and here’s everything you need to know in order to take advantage of the huge savings that will be a fingertip away.

The official date for Amazon Prime Day has not been announced by Amazon, however, Tech Radar discovered a hidden banner image on the Amazon website that revealed a July 16 start date. The start date for Prime Day comes a week later than in previous years, but hopefully, that just means there will be an extra day’s worth of savings to unload when all the deals and specials are made available.

Prime Day will begin at noon on July 16 and end at midnight on July 17.

It really will be like Christmas in July with all the deals that are at your fingertips. While Black Friday and Cyber Monday are more publicized and during the peak of the Christmas shopping season, Prime Day can be just as valuable for the smart shopper.

Prime Day is only available for Prime members but if you don’t want to pay the recently increased membership fee of $119, you can take advantage of a free 30-day trial. This will allow you to take advantage of Prime Day’s offerings, but also to enjoy all the shows and movies that are available through Prime Video.

The full listing of the Prime Day deals haven’t been revealed yet, but we can make some pretty astute educated guesses about some of the offerings.

Amazon loves to feature their own products in the daily deals section, and we can expect that again for Prime Day. If you haven’t purchased an Alexa-enabled device like an Echo or Dot, Prime Day would be a great time to get one and experience how it can be a trusty personal assistant for you at the office or at home.

Plus, you can expect to see big markdowns on the Fire tablets and other assorted Fire devices. Amazon gift cards may also be reduced, Amazon warehouse products will be on clearance and subscriptions to Prime, like Amazon Music Unlimited, Audible, Kindle and Prime Pantry.

If you’ve put off buying a new big screen TV, you may want to take the plunge because there figures to be plenty of brands on sale so you can add a new smart TV to your place.

Plenty more information will be coming in during the lead up to the event, so be sure to check back frequently to see what other deals will be at your fingertips on Prime Day.
