Goliath season 2 is now streaming on Prime Video: Watch now
Clear your schedule for this weekend because Goliath season 2, starring Billy Bob Thornton is now streaming on Prime Video.
One of the best shows on Prime Video is now back with new episodes. I hope you don’t have any big plans scheduled for this weekend, because if you do, you should break them, so you can sit on the couch and binge-watch Goliath season 2.
Billy Bob Thornton stars as Billy McBride, a former hotshot attorney who grew tired of the hustle and bustle of being a lawyer. He’s well past his prime after spending more time riding a bar stool than working a case and spending time in a courtroom. But in the first season, Billy gets back to what he does best when he takes on a wrongful death case against the client of the firm he helped start.
I’m so glad Amazon renewed the series because the show is so good and Thornton is so great at every role he’s immersed himself in. Despite his star power, Goliath really flew under the radar, until he won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Drama. Still, the buzz and word of mouth about the series didn’t generate much pop culture water cooler talk.
Nevertheless, the show is great and I recommend you check it out. The synopsis from Amazon for Goliath season 2 sees Billy taking on a double murder case after a 16-year-old boy was charged with the violent crime.
"Billy McBride returns to criminal defense, taking on a grisly double murder case. His client is a 16-year-old boy, and Billy’s damn sure he’s innocent. Billy, Patty, and the team fervently build their case in the seedy underworld of Los Angeles. As the murders’ true culprits come to light, the implications reach as far as the mayoral race – and the city’s preeminent billionaire developer."
This is a great deal and I would take advantage of it if you’re wanting to see Goliath, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Catastrophe and any of the other awesome Amazon Originals.
Goliath also stars Nina Arianda, Ana de la Reguera, Matthew Del Negro, Mark Duplass, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo and Tania Raymonde.
