Maggie is back home and keeping the con alive but now Marius needs to get answers from her so they don’t all end up dead at the hands of Luca Delchev.

Maggie is back home and it’s going relatively smoothly. Otto is especially happy to see his daughter under his roof again. Maggie says it was the family that brought her back after all these years. And the family is in danger but they don’t even know it as Frank and Joe meet with Luca who wants his money back. He tells them to burn the farmhouse down to draw out Maggie and Marius.

It’s time for Marius to get some answers from Maggie. First, Marius tells Maggie about why he assumed Pete’s identity. They can trust each other now. She wanted to come home earlier but she knew she was being followed and didn’t want to bring that danger to the house. So I guess she decided now was the right time to do that.

Maggie tells Marius the story of how she and Reggie stole the money from the storage facility. Reggie found it underneath National Geographic magazines inside random boxes he was drawn to. She didn’t want to take it, but she went along with it nonetheless. There was a shootout when the guard showed up when Pete couldn’t stall and got arrested at the gun range. Reggie killed the guard, who killed two of his accomplices. Reggie took a shot though but before they fled, and she said they stashed the money inside a stuffed buffalo inside the storage facility. Maggie says she had a vision and she has to give the money back.

Marius wasn’t the only one looking for an explanation. Taylor was concerned about why she decided to return home now after all this time. Mainly, he’s worried about her leaving again and devastating his grandparents. Audrey finally comes home from work to see her daughter at the dining room table. She’s frozen before engaging in a big embrace. The family talks lovingly and shares a ton of memories. Maggie says she forgives her mom, which raised an eyebrow from Julia and Audrey isn’t really buying her holier than thou front. Audrey surmises Marius left Bridgeport to bring her home and she’s suspicious of their motives.

Carly is happy to have Maggie around because she shares a lot of stories about her mother. She says they talk all the time and can feel her presence in the room. She promises Carly they can try to talk to her later.

Julia decided she’s going to bond out Valerie so Luis will launder the extra $500K of Dockery’s money.

Here’s a wrinkle: The FBI wants Marius and Maggie to work with them to put away Luca.

Robie and Taylor share a beer and she tells him he’s good at this police work and he should apply again to be a detective. There seems to be some chemistry between them. But the mood of the room changes when she reveals they’re running DNA tests on the blood sample from Winslow’s car. In short time, they’ll know it was Audrey in the car with Winslow.

And now for the climax of the episode. Maggie and Marius are taken to Luca by Joe and Frank. It looks like dire circumstances for the two. We’ve heard the horror stories about him using acid to kill his victims. And he did it again, although, its not Marius or Maggie who feels the burn.

It’s Joe who has a cup of acid splashed on his face as he dies in agonozing pain after Frank told Luca that he thought Joe was getting a little uneasy and Luca thought that meant he was planning on taking him out. Luca knows who Marius really is, they met previously, and nothing has changed, he still wants his $11 million.
