If you didn’t get a chance to see the movie at the box office now is your chance to watch the movie that had die-hard Star Wars fans split. Some fans loved Rian Johnson’s vision for this chapter while other fans weren’t so keen. In fact, some fans went so far as to try to get this movie removed from Star Wars canon and think it’s the worst in the film’s entire franchise. There didn’t seem to be any in between when it came to The Last Jedi.
Depending on what end of the spectrum you fall on for the movie, you will be delighted to know that the digital copy contains so much bonus content. This is the best part about buying digital copies, DVD’s and Blu-ray copies of movies. The movie is fine and all, but we all want to see deleted scenes, hear commentary from the filmmakers and the stars and all sorts of behind the scenes footage to make us feel like we were a part of the shoot.
I saw the movie on opening night in the theater. I wouldn’t classify myself as a die-hard Star Wars fan, but I’m trying to become one. While The Last Jedi was a smash hit at the box office, I don’t know that I was really a fan. Perhaps I had my expectations set too high and set myself up to be disappointed, but I just couldn’t get into the story.

The movie felt long by about an hour and some of the characters just weren’t that captivating or engaging and I tuned out when they were on the screen. Some of the scenes seemed a little too far-fetched and I missed some of the movie magic that makes Star Wars such a revered brand.
But don’t let my review stop you from buying your copy today. Perhaps it’ll be a movie that is better the second time around? I’ll be ordering my copy to find out.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on March 27, but it’s currently unavailable to pre-order on Amazon so make sure you place your orders in two weeks.
