When will Mozart in the Jungle season 5 be on Amazon Prime Video?
Fans who already binge-watched Mozart in the Jungle season 4 are hoping for the series to be renewed because they’re ready to watch season 5.
How do you watch Mozart in the Jungle? Do you binge-watch all 10 episodes in one sitting or do you savor the season and watch one episode at a time until you’ve finished a few weeks or even a month or two after the premiere?
I have no self-control so I am a binge-watcher and after season 4 of Mozart in the Jungle came out on Feb. 16, naturally, I had to watch it as fast as I possibly could. And just like that, I was done with season 4 on Saturday afternoon and then the reality sets in that I don’t have any new episodes to watch and may not have any for a long, long time.
It’s kind of a crippling fear binge-watchers face, but we deal with it as best we can, and usually by substituting a different show for us to consume as fast as we can.
But that leads me to the big question many fans of Mozart in the Jungle are asking today.
Update 4/9: Unfortunately, Mozart in the Jungle has been canceled and there won’t be a season 5.
When will Mozart in the Jungle season 5 be on Amazon Prime Video?
First things first, at the time of publishing, Amazon has yet to renew or cancel the series, but we’re operating under the assumption that the Golden Globe-winning series will be coming back for at least one more season.
Typically, there is about a 12-14 month wait between seasons, including this most recent season that debuted 14.5 months after the season 3 premiere. Working under that timeline, the earliest fans can expect to see season 5 of Mozart in the Jungle will be February of 2019.

Depending on the production schedule and how quickly Amazon decided to renew the series could alter that projection slightly, but barring unforeseen circumstances, we project the new season to arrive next February, but no later than the spring of 2019.
Once we have a renewal notice from Amazon and the production begins for season 5, we can refine our release date projection, but for fans who are done with season 4 and trying to remain patient, this date will have to serve as the light at the end of the proverbial tunnel.
