When will It be available on Amazon Video, Blu-ray and DVD?

Here’s when you can expect to watch It on Amazon Video and when you can get your hands on the hard copy on Blu-ray or DVD.

The new it movie at the theaters this weekend is none other than It, the old Stephen King novel that was first adapted into a two-part mini-series in 1990. Now, the story has been adapted into a 2-hour, 15-minute feature film that is generating some early positive reviews.

Chase Palmer, Cary Fukunaga and Gary Gauberman wrote the screenplay for the movie that stars Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise the clown. The movie is set in in the town of Derry, Maine where kids are beginning to turn up dead. The killer behind these grizzly murders is not a person but rather a demonic clown who has the ability to shapeshift into the one thing that is a person’s greatest fear.

A group of seven kids, that has been affixed with the nickname, “The Losers Club” learns that Pennywise who appears every 27 years and preys on people’s biggest fears. When the kids discover the truth about Pennywise, “The Losers Club” comes up with a plan to kill the killer clown. But will they be successful conquering their fears against this demonic clown that knows the things that terrify them the most?

We’ve shared the three trailers released so you can get a look at the clown and the rest of the characters if you’re thinking about venturing out to the theaters to see It.

That means, we can project a Jan, 9, 2018 release date for Blu-ray and DVD. Additionally, you should be able to pre-order on Amazon about four weeks before the release date. And we can forecast it being available on Amazon digital download during the week of Dec. 24, 2017. So it may make for the perfect contrast to Elf, Home Alone or National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation while you’re in the Christmas spirit.
