Game of Thrones: Watch Stormborn for free on Amazon Channels
Here’s how you can start your free trial of Amazon Channels today and watch Sunday night’s all-new episode of Game of Thrones for free.
Game of Thrones returned to HBO last Sunday with their season 7 premiere. It was a little bit of a longer wait than normal as the seventh season was pushed back to mid-July from its normal spring release date. The wait was long but it was certainly worth the wait as several storylines are now set up for the show’s final 12 episodes. But don’t worry if you don’t have HBO because you can start a free trial on Amazon Channels so you can watch the latest episode “Stormborn” and it won’t cost you a single cent.
Head on over to Amazon Channels where you can get a free week trial to see if this service is something you’d like to commit to for the long haul. If you’re a Prime member of a Prime Video subscriber, you can simply add a subscription to HBO subscription through Amazon Channels. Beyond your free week trial, if you’d like to see the rest of Game of Thrones season 7, you will have to pay for the service. Prime members will have to pay $10.99 per month, which is a better deal than subscribing to HBO’s standalone streaming service HBO Now. But if you’re not a Prime member, the cost to subscribe to HBO through Amazon Channels is $14.99, which is the price it would run if you subscribed directly through HBO. Not a bad at all.
Don’t waste time and take advantage of this opportunity right away so you can be signed in and ready to go when 9:00 p.m. ET comes around on Sunday so you can see “Stormborn.” The second episode of the seventh season promises a surprise visitor for Daenerys and Jon Snow faces a bit of a revolt.
You can get a sneak peek at “Stormborn” by checking out the preview in the video below.
If you blinked, you may have missed a revealing part of the episode synopsis this week. Viewers are told Dany will have a surprise visitor and we see Ellaria Sand in her war room in Dragonstone and later about to be kissed by Yara Greyjoy. Last we saw of the Dragon Queen, Ellaria was not part of the group that made the trek to Dragonstone, so we’re led to believe this is her surprise visitor.

Although, it wouldn’t be much of a surprise if the surprise is revealed in the trailer, right? That could mean there is another visitor heading to see Dany. Could this be Jon? That may be a bit premature. We do know Jon and Dany will meet at some point this season, and Jon will get word from Sam who knows about the horde of dragonglass at Dragonstone. But that feels like we could be another episode or two away from that first meeting between Dany and her half brother who doesn’t know about his true parentage.

If “Stormborn” isn’t enough to convince you to keep your HBO subscription through Amazon Channels, maybe the Comic-Con trailer released on July 21 will convince you to pay for the rest of the season.
The above trailer features clips from episode 3 as well to foreshadow some of what’s to come in Westeros as they all prepare for the big war to come.
