August sees the addition of four new Amazon Original shows added to Prime Video and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will be available for purchase on Amazon Video.

The month of August sees four new Amazon Original series coming to Prime Video. The biggest name of the four is The Tick, which premieres on August 25. The comedy series stars Peter Serafinowicz who boasts no superpowers of his own but he’s able to team up with an unsuspecting superhero to stop villains in their tracks.

But before The Tick arrives toward the end of the month, Comrade Detective from producers Channing Tatum and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The comedy is a cop spoof show based on the Romanian series from the 1980s. A new series for kids also comes out on the first of the month with Lost in Oz, following the adventures of Dorothy and her little dog too in the land of Oz. The series is based on the novels of the same name. The fourth Amazon Original series to come out in August is season 3 of the kids series Tumble Leaf, about a blue fox and a caterpillar on Tumble Leaf island.

A ton of great movies are coming to Amazon Prime as well in August, including the complete Saw franchise, Florence Foster Jenkins and Superbad.

We’ve also included the movies available for purchase on Amazon Video, which included Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 which is available to buy on Aug. 8. And we’ve included the shows and movies you can access through Amazon Channels.
