If you were unable to get your hands on the Nintendo Classic that was released last year, then you could be in luck with the pending release of the Super Nintendo Classic that comes out in September.
This is the best news of the year for gamers. Nintendo announced on Monday that they will release the Super Nintendo Classic edition on September 29 for $80 and comes with 21 games.
The news comes on the heels of last year’s Nintendo Classic edition that allowed lucky customers with 30 games on the original Nintendo gaming console millions of people had in their homes in the late 80s. It was a brilliant idea and was one of the most requested gifts last year, but the big problem was the limited number of consoles that were made available for purchase. People looked everywhere to get their hands on the Classic edition and when they found one from a third party seller on Amazon, they were met with ridiculous prices from people trying to gouge potential buyers.
Hopefully, that doesn’t repeat itself with the Super Nintendo Classic edition that fans will be able to purchase on Amazon later this year. According to kotaku.com, the full list of games is 21 titles long and includes the previously unreleased Star Fox 2, although you have to get past the first level of Star Fox 1 in order to play.
