Manchester by the Sea (2016)

Casey Affleck, also known as Ben Affleck’s brother, stars as Lee in this movie where we learn about sacrifice and true love. As a lonely janitor, Lee’s life is turned around after he gains custody of his 16 year-old nephew.

Lee is also forced to face with his past demons like grief and separation from his marriage. Affleck is the main lead in the film, and he is joined by stars like Michelle Williams and Kyle Chandler. This film seems to be a tear jerker, so grab your tissues!

IMDB gave the film a 7.9 out of 10, but Rotten Tomatoes seems to disagree. Out of 267 reviews by critics, the film received a 96 percent. This film rung for 135 minutes and is rated R (for sexual content and language).
