14. “How Would You Feel”

This song was also released shortly after “Castle on The Hill” and “Shape of You,” but it didn’t contain nearly the same amount of buzz. This song is again typical Ed as we listen to the soft notes and sad lyrics of Ed trying to get the girl.

Although very sweet, I am not sure I am sold on the song. I find myself skipping it quite often.

The Feels: The innocence is almost enough to knock it down a few spaces, but it wasn’t the most meaningful. The song is full of sweet scenes of sitting on rooftops and kissing in a front yard, but not enough to make me remember it.

The Lyrics: Again, not the most meaningful lyrics, but it is kinda sweet. I picture a preteen boy humming this while hitting on a girl at school.

The Beat: The beat is soft and romantic, but it is hard to sway to the beat. I expect more hardcore angst from Sheeran, which was not delivered in this beat. It was kinda a let down amongst the other songs with hip hop vibes that make it impossible not to sway.
