When will The LEGO Batman movie be on Amazon Video, DVD and Blu-ray?

The current top movie at the box office is The LEGO Batman Movie which is an offshoot of the 2014 release of The LEGO Movie. Will Arnett reprises his role as Batman as you’ve never seen before.

There have been a few different actors fortunate enough to play The Dark Knight, but no one has ever played him in LEGO form. Arnett and his deep voice make for a perfect casting and this movie is truly fantastic in all aspects.

Bruce Wayne is dealing with the Joker and other criminals in Gotham City, but he’s also dealing with the pressures of adoption and raising a boy. It makes for a great viewing for the entire family, but if you can’t make it to the movie theater, you’ll want to tuck away these dates for its projected DVD and Blu-ray release date and when you can watch it on Amazon Video.

The LEGO Batman movie was only released recently on Feb. 10 so it’ll still be a little while until you can watch from the comfort of your living room. However, we can provide a projected DVD and Blu-ray date based on the theatrical release.

Movies usually have a three-month buffer from the time of the release until it’s for sale on DVD and Blu-ray, so the earliest it’ll be on DVD/Blu-ray is May 16. Granted, this is only a projection, so it could come out May 23 or May 30 depending on how long it runs in the theater. It should definitely be out before June.

The Amazon Video release typically comes a weekend before the DVD/Blu-ray release date and doesn’t have to wait for a Tuesday to be released. Therefore, we can project a May 12 release date for the movie available for rent or purchase on Amazon Video. When updated information is revealed about The LEGO Batman Movie coming to DVD/Blu-ray and Amazon Video, this post will be updated with the most current information.
