Directed By: Sam Jaeger

Fans of the beloved and criminally underrated NBC family drama Parenthood will be extra interested in Take Me Home, a romantic comedy film written by, directed by, and starring Sam Jaeger, otherwise known as Julia Braverman’s husband Joel.

Jaeger stars as Thom alongside his real-life wife Amber Jaeger, who plays Claire. Thom and Claire are both down on their luck when she pays his illegal taxicab service to take her to California. Along the way, Thom and Claire get to know each other on the adventure that will end up defining their lives.

Take Me Home scooped up a number of film festival awards for its honest and funny story about finding love while finding yourself. The film also stars Grimm’s Bree Turner and well-known television and film actor Victor Garber in supporting roles. And since its lead actors are married, you know the romance is real.
