Everyone has heard of Indecent Proposal whether as a fan of the 1993 blockbuster or from its lasting pop cultural impact. Its title and premise, which were based on Jack Engelhard’s novel of the same name, have made it one of the most referenced films of the last two decades.
Demi Moore and Woody Harrelson star as Diana and David, a married couple on a trip to Las Vegas hoping to gamble their money and spin it into a sizable return. The couple meets Gage (Robert Redford), who offers Diana one million dollars to spend the night with her. They accept his offer, not knowing that it will turn their lives upside down.
Indecent Proposal, like all box office success stories, went on to inspire popcorn movies of similar nature. And why wouldn’t it? The film stars a trio of highly talented megawatt stars.
