The best TV shows to watch on Valentine’s Day from our ranking of the 50 Best TV Shows on Amazon Prime Video including Red Oaks, Sex and the City, and more!

Are you looking for a great TV show to watch on Amazon Prime Video for Valentine’s Day weekend? Don’t worry! There are plenty of great shows from our ranking of the 50 Best TV Shows on Amazon Prime Video available to watch alone, with a group of friends, or, of course, with your significant other!

Most of the shows we have picked out are romantic shows or have some element of romance in the show. Here are our top TV picks to watch on Valentine’s Day weekend in 2017 on Amazon Prime Video:

Red Oaks

Red Oaks is an Amazon original series that focuses on David (Craig Roberts), a college student at NYU who spends his summer working at the Red Oaks Country Club in New Jersey. The series is set in the 1980s and tells the stories of David and a few of his friends as they try to work through romantic relationships. There are two seasons of the series on Amazon Prime Video.

Sex and the City

All six seasons of Sex and the City are now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Considered to be one of the great HBO comedies, Sex and the City tells the story of Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) and several women in New York City as they explore various romantic relationships.

Catastrophe

In Catastrophe, Rob (Rob Delaney), an American businessman, and Sharon (Sharon Horgan) begin a fling while Rob is in London for business. Weeks later, Sharon finds out she is pregnant. Rob moves back to England to see if they can make it work. We just found out Catastrophe Season 3 premieres on Prime Video on April 28. The first two seasons are now streaming on the streaming service. Watch them this weekend!

True Blood

If you like romance, violence, and vampires, True Blood is the show for you this Valentine’s Day Weekend! The first six seasons of the series are now streaming on Prime Video.

The Americans

The Americans is the best show on this list, hands down. In the series, which is set in the 1980s, Elizabeth and Phillip Jennings (Keri Russell and Mathew Rhys) are spies for the Soviet Union living in the United States and collecting intel. They have two children and have to keep their work-family balance without causing their neighbors to be suspicious. The fourth season of The Americans premieres on Prime Video on February 15, so if you want to catch up the series, you should start doing that as soon as possible!
