7. Vince keeps his word to Marius and Eddie

  • Episode 4, “The Fury”

After Eddie attempted to leave the apartment to contact Marius, but Vince of course heard about the incident. He delivered a moving and elaborate tale about his time in the force. Vince talked about a robbery early in his career as a cop and how he let a kid go from an unfortunate fate. Vince told the tragedy of the tale as Eddie sat in horror due to the anticipation of what might be his fate.

Vince soon revealed that this kid murdered a police officer years later. Turns out, the killer was the same kid from earlier in the story. Vince wanted to teach Eddie a lesson so that he would never disobey Vince’s word again. Therefore, Vince had his guy chop off one of Eddie’s toes to make a point to both Eddie and Marius.

Cranston evoked Walter’s incredible action when he ordered Jesse to shoot Gale to eliminate any competition. On the other hand, Cranston actually reminded viewers more about Mike’s conversation with Walter about the man who killed his wife and pushed Mike to kill a criminal.
