9. Billy preps everyone for the deposition

As Ned has a breakdown with Patty about the upcoming deposition at Borns Tech, chaos erupted as the prima donna engineer caused the commotion in the hotel room. Billy walked in to calm the inexperienced and nervous individuals in the room. Billy scolded his oversized bodyguard and calmed Ned down to give the witness tips on how to approach the deposition. Of course, Billy yelled at Ned to stop his arrogant attitude toward Patty.
Billy began a relaxation exercise with Ned while Brittany massaged the rocket scientist. Billy delivered pretty good advice for a nervous trainwreck of a witness. Billy added a bit of comedy to the situation as well when he advised Ned to ask for a bathroom break every hour to use as an excuse to talk to his lawyer.
Billy McBride showed that this case was not his first time. The drastic differences in Patty’s approach to preparing Ned as opposed to Billy’s approach were clearly evident. Thornton exuded confidence and transformed himself into a therapist of sorts to introduce harmony into the chaotic motel room.
