8. One Mississippi Season 2
One Mississippi was created by Diablo Cody and Tig Notaro, who also stars in the series. Most of the inspiration for this series comes from Notaro’s life. In the span of a few months, Notaro’s mother passed away and Notaro battled an intestinal disease and was diagnosed with breast cancer.
One Mississippi premiered on Amazon Prime Video in 2016 and the full first season is streaming on Prime Video now! The second season will likely premiere on the streaming service in the fall of 2017.
Tig Notaro, Noah Harpster, John Rothman, Casey Wilson, Rya Kihlstedt, and Stephanie Allynne star in the series.

Overall, One Mississippi has been one of the most underrated Amazon originals so far. We’re trying to change that! Go watch the first season of this show ASAP!
