1. Compatibility with Uber

Uber has certainly changed the game when it comes to transportation as the private driver service has become ridiculously prevalent in modern society and culture. It’s no wonder considering the ease of getting a ride and using the app on a smartphone to just pick you up and not have to explain to the driver (assuming they’re familiar with the area) how to get to wherever you are or wherever you’re wanting to go.

However, calling an Uber is now even easier with the help of the Amazon Echo and Alexa. Amazon recently announced that Uber and the Amazon Echo are now compatible and that you can call a ride simply by asking Alexa to do so. So instead of having to go on the app and click through all of the various questions that Uber inevitably asks you, you can simply say, “Alexa, call me an Uber” and you’ll be on your way to getting to your destination.

This really takes an already convenient service to the next level in terms of ease of use. We’ve all been in a room where you tell someone to call an Uber you and your friends can go out, but now Alexa can be the one you ask and she’ll do the work for everybody. If you ask us, the features on the Amazon Echo don’t get much better than that.
