2. Music on Spotify, Amazon Prime Music

From the jump and the release of the Amazon Echo, you’ve been able to stream music through Amazon Prime Music simply by asking/telling Alexas to play a certain song, artist, or album. In and of itself, that’s a pretty awesome function considering the breadth of music available on Amazon Prime Music and that you don’t have to go searching through everything to find what you want to listen to while also getting to listen to it through a nice speaker.

However, the Amazon Echo relatively recently debuted the ability to also access your Spotify account, which only adds to the library of music that users have to choose from. Now virtually any song that you could ever want to stream is at the beck and call of your voice and the request of Alexa! That’s pretty incredible.

Again, this is something that you could obviously do on your smartphone or computer as well, but doing so through the Amazon Echo again saves you a bit of the work. Yes, that is completely lazy, but sometimes there’s nothing wrong with trying to relax to some tunes and not wanting to really put in the effort to scrolling to find the right song.
