Who hasn’t ever been doing something around the house and wanted to know something about a current event? Sometimes you just need to know the score of the game, what’s going on in the election, or anything of that sort. However, you don’t always have the ability to either check your phone or hop onto Twitter really quick to find the answer. Alexa and the Amazon Echo have you covered, though.

By checking with various news sources, all you have to do is ask Alexa whatever your question is and she’ll gladly oblige. Say you want know if Hilary Clinton won a certain Democratic Primary election, just ask, “Alexa, what are the results for the Democratic Primary in [Insert State]” and she’ll look up and tell you the answer. The same goes for sporting events and many other things.

While you can obviously look up all of these things on your own in most situations, if you’re in the kitchen baking or doing something where using an electronic device just isn’t feasible, this feature can be incredibly handy.
