2. The Man in the High Castle won the Hugo Award for Best Novel
That’s not all about Dick’s The Man in the High Castle!
This isn’t just any book; we’re talking about the winner of 1963 Hugo Award for Best Novel.
For those who don’t know, the Hugo Award for Best Novel is one of the biggest awards in literature. The Hugo Award is given out by the World Science Fiction Society to the best novel of the year with 40,000-plus words.
In recent years, a number of George R.R. Martin’s books from The Song of Ice and Fire, J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter books, and other well-known, popular books have been nominated for the award.
While I haven’t read the book yet, I’m definitely going to check it out once the series comes out.
