With Amazon bringing us the Lord of the Rings series later this year, it’s not surprising to see the books reenter the list of most sold Amazon books last week.

When books are adapted into shows and movies, we often see the books reenter the list of most sold Amazon books. That’s the case for the Lord of the Rings book, with all three from the main trilogy reentering high. There is also another J.R.R. Tolkien book that has entered well for the very first time.

That new entry is The Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien. It has entered in 12th place, which is respectable for an older book. It’s the second-highest of the new additions for the week. The highest was The Butcher and the Wren by Alaina Urquhart.

Where the Crawdads Sing up, The Paris Apartment down

There are some notable mentions throughout the rest of the list. The first is Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens climbing up the list. It soared 16 places to take over the top spot, knocking Run, Rose, Run by James Patterson & Dolly Parton down a spot. The Fellowship of the Ring reentered in third place.

There were some big movers. The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley is a notable one. The six-place drop knocked it out of the Top 10. However, The Match by Harlan Coben was the biggest mover, losing 17 places and landing in 20th place.

Colleen Hoover’s books also saw some big changes. They dropped five places each, but some just hold onto a Top 10 spot.
